AI & Human Decisions
Human Decision Policy
AI here coaches writing. It does not decide anything about a person. Account access, identity verification, moderation, refunds, Earn awards and admissions are all decided by a named human at I Write Mines, and any outcome can be reviewed again on request.

4. AI Disclosure
4.1 Coaching, not ghostwriting. I Write Mines uses artificial intelligence to coach, analyse, question, diagnose and grade. By design it does not write your book, your lyrics, your script or your plan for you. Every tool is built to return direction, structure, questions and craft observations — not finished prose you can paste in as your own.
4.2 How the tools behave. The Revision Lab demonstrates editing moves on sentences you already wrote. The Beat Studio reads an instrumental's tone, tempo and pocket and returns angles and section jobs. Mr AP and the Tutor ask questions and push back. Graders score against published rubrics. None of these produce original creative text on your behalf.
4.3 Accuracy. AI Output can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, biased or generic. Grades and scores are directional teaching signals, not objective measures of quality or of commercial prospects. Treat all AI Output as a second opinion from a collaborator, not as fact, and not as legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Verify anything that matters before you act on it.
4.4 Third-party model providers. AI features are powered by third-party model providers. Content you submit to an AI tool is transmitted to those providers to generate a response and is processed under their security terms. Do not paste confidential material, trade secrets, personal data about other people, or anything under a non-disclosure obligation.
4.5 Generated media. Where you ask the Service to generate narration, cover artwork, storyboards or concept video, that media is produced by automated systems on your instruction and may reflect the limits and biases of those systems. You are responsible for reviewing generated media before you publish it, for confirming it does not depict a real identifiable person without consent, and for confirming it does not infringe third-party rights.
4.6 Prohibited AI uses. You must not use the AI features to generate unlawful content, to impersonate a real person, to produce deepfakes or synthetic voice of anyone without their written consent, to create sexual content involving minors, to generate harassment or hate material, or to jailbreak, prompt-inject or otherwise circumvent the coaching-only design.
4.7 Moderation. We may filter, refuse, limit or remove AI requests and outputs, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly attempt prohibited uses.
4.8 AI never decides anything about you. No feature of the Service uses AI to make, or to automatically execute, a decision about a person. See section 4A.
4A. Human Decision Policy — No Automated Decisions About People
4A.1 The rule. I Write Mines does not use artificial intelligence to make, or to materially influence, any decision that affects a person's rights, money, access, standing or opportunities. AI in this Service analyses creative work and returns craft feedback. It has no authority over accounts, people or funds.
4A.2 Decisions reserved to humans. Every one of the following is made by a named member of I Write Mines staff, on the whole file, using their own judgment: account approval, suspension, lockout or closure; password, email and account-recovery outcomes; identity verification and the verified check; fraud and abuse outcomes; content moderation and removal; Earn programme acceptance, awards, payouts and card issuance, limits or freezes; refunds and billing exceptions; membership, university admission, placement and youth or guardian access. Staff may read AI-assisted notes as one input among many; they are free to disregard them, and no AI note is required to reach an outcome.
4A.3 What automated checks actually do. Deterministic safety checks (for example duplicate-device or burst-sign-up signals) and AI summaries only route an item into a human queue and highlight what to look at. They cannot approve, deny, suspend, pay, charge, verify or rank a person, and nothing is executed automatically on their output.
4A.4 Grades, scores and placements are teaching aids. Grades on a manuscript, script, song or track, and any suggested study track, timetable or 'drive profile', are directional coaching signals about a piece of work or a self-assessment you filled in yourself. They are not measures of a person, are not used to grant or withhold access, money or opportunity, and can be ignored, retaken or overridden by you at any time.
4A.5 No profiling for eligibility. We do not profile you to price the Service, to decide whether you may buy it, to set credit or spending limits, or to judge your suitability for anything. We do not use AI to assess employment, credit, housing, insurance, education admission or legal outcomes for any person.
4A.6 Tell us and we will look again. If you believe an outcome was wrong, open Human re-review in your account portal (iwritemines.com/reviews) or email support@iwritemines.com. The portal shows each stage of the review — filed, picked up by a named staff member, and the written decision with its reason. A human who was not involved in the original outcome will review it, and you may submit your own explanation and supporting information. We aim to respond within 5 business days. This route is available to you whether or not any automated processing was involved, and nothing in these terms removes rights you hold under Article 22 GDPR or comparable law.
4A.7 Records. Staff decisions on accounts, funds and access are logged with the acting person and the reason, so any outcome can be traced back to the human who made it.
